✖ new beginnings.
Hey there, world. It has been a while.
I’m so glad you found your way to my new blog. I love writing and during the break I took, I found myself missing it more the day after day. However, I didn’t feel like going back to my old blog, Little Things With Jassy, as I felt it had come to its end. No, honestly, I loved the ”brand” I had created but as the time passes, and passed by, I wasn’t feeling that it could give me anything new.
Let me tell you a little story about my Autumn 2018. Autumn 2018 was the moment of change to me, in some levels. It was the worst few months for me, mentally and I kind of fell into this huge dump I’ve never been to before. Being a mum to a toddler, wife to my husband, working part-time and beginning my full-time studies at the school I had been trying to apply for the past four years really got their toll on me. I lost myself, I lost my identity and I really wasn’t feeling myself anymore. I was lost and I still am, and I’m glad you’ve found your way to this blog when I try to collect myself back up a piece by piece and try to figure out who am I. Who is Jasmin? Who she is, what she wants from life and how does she deal with all the stuff happening along the way?
So no, this won’t be a family blog. Now that D, the little Dinosaur is almost two years old, I want to keep his privacy. I’m not coming here to write about how much he’s weight, what he has learned and how he’s been doing. However, I might share some funny stories that had happened to me with him or funny things he’s said, in a side sentence. A full post? Not going to happen.
I’m going to be a selfish little bitch, and make this as something of my own. My little internet corner, where I write about things that I’m passionate about. Whether it’s where I’ve travelled, the latest gig I saw, a new pair of shoes I recently bought, a recipe I tried a while back and just really want to share it or just a ramble like this which might not even have a point at all. Or perhaps, I might have an opinion about something.
The point is, that I want to find myself and for doing that, I need to be a bit selfish at times.
So if you found your way here through my old blog, hello. It’s so very nice to have you here, even though this might not turn out to be what you expected. I really do hope you’ll stick here and enjoy what’s about to come and if you don’t, I do understand.
If you’re a new reader, welcome. I love that you’re here, I love that you’ve found your way here. I hope you’ll enjoy what’s about to come.
The truth is, I don’t care if you’re a new or an old reader, I just really love that you’re here. And I really do hope that you’ll enjoy. It’s time for the new beginnings, as cliché as it may sound, it’s a new year after all.

DeleteI think it's great that you want to keep your own space! I've known a lot of mum's who have struggled with self identity after dedicating almost every second of their time to their babies. Major respect for wanting to give him his privacy too 💕 I can't wait to see what's coming x
