✖ let's get cosy | 7 songs to listen to this week

Hello there, world.
This is your Monday morning reminder that you are powerful beyond measure, that you are capable of pretty much anything you are willing to work for, and that you could change your life today.
I don't know about you guys, but I sure as hell needed that quote for today.

I made a promise last week, to come up with a weekly list of songs that I'll recommend to you and what would be a better day than Monday to do that? So let's kick off the brand new week with some songs, and this week, it's all about those cosy feeling songs.
What songs make you feel cosy? I'd be thrilled to know!

So I played the beginning, again and again. 'Til there was nothing more I could find. Whatever you needed from me, I'm not sure. I only wish I had complied.
✖ "Sea Of Clouds" by Deer Tick
For some reason listening to this song makes me feel like I'm in an indie movie. I don't know why but it does. Also, this is one of the cosiest songs to listen to, especially when it's -25°C degrees outside, a light snowing happening and you are snuggled up on your sofa, writing and drinking a hot beverage. For me, that would be a cup of coffee, just like my soul - pitch black.
And I told you to be patient, and I told you to be fine. And I told you to be balanced, and I told you to be kind. And in the morning I'll be with you.
✖ "Skinny Love" by Bon Iver
This song is OLD. But definitely GOLD. And as cliché it is, it has earned its spot on my cosy playlist for the week. If you want instant cosy vibes, put it on and you'll have no regrets.
But I've been thinking maybe, just maybe, I am enough. And I've been thinking lately, just maybe, I'm worthy of, worthy of a better love.
 "Enough" by Dani Sylvia
My friend actually recommended me this one last week and ever since I've been in love with the whole artist. Last week was also the first time I've heard of her and this song of hers is so powerful with all its lyrics, music and story that it'll give you instant goosebumps if you can relate to it. And it's fucking relatable, let me tell you that.
Maybe all we are are just fools with hearts that tried too hard, and maybe that's just fine as long as you're here in my arms.
✖ "Maybe, I'm Afraid" by lovelytheband
lovelytheband has reached a special place in my heart during 2018 and it's definitely one of my favourites to go to for feeling cosy. You might remember one of their songs from the blog post I did last week and this one is a bit more powerful than that, with lyrics that'll turn your emotional senses up.
I'm happy for you. I'm smiling for you. I'd do anything for you, for you.
✖ "Feelings Are Fatal" by mxmtoon
If the sound of ukulele doesn't do the trick for you, I don't know what will. Funny fact about the writer here, I've been really into playing the ukulele lately. Just sayin'. Not that it would make any difference.
If I lay here, if I just lay here? Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
✖ "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol
This is probably a song you've all heard, and if you haven't, where have you been? It's a classic by now.
She's walking down the street, blind to every eye she meets. Do you think you'll be the guy, to make the queen of the angels sigh?
✖ "Hello, I love you" by The Doors
Hello, be cosy, let me take you on a journey. To listen to some oldies, as they're good for you.
I'm really bad at rhyming, perhaps that's the reason I don't do poems. Or write songs.
